TECAR Radiofrequency Therapy: An Overview

Radiofrequency therapy operates within a closed system, where the current moves from the treatment head to the return plate and back again. This strategic placement of the return plate allows for precise targeting of the treatment area. Thanks to its deep penetration capabilities, radiofrequency therapy can reach deep structures such as the sacroiliac joint and deep gluteal muscles, areas that manual therapy alone cannot effectively address.

The slight rise in temperature within a tissue can enhance the benefits of TECAR therapy by increasing the supply of nutrients and aiding in the removal of toxins.
